Pros- great sound- well worth the price- very comfortable- drivers are available for online download. The sound is still going through them but it’s just hanging from the cord. I’m very particular about the treatment of my own technology within my household so i try to be as careful as possible. The reason i’m giving this product 2 stars is because after just day 3 of having these, the right ear cuff broke off as i was taking them off my head. I also liked the option to add vibration with the press of a button so it would make your games feel more immersive. They were also very light and appeared durable. The sound quality is top notch a+ grade quality. This usb powered headset is wonderful to use after you change some settings with the program that comes with the cd. This headset was exactly what i was looking for. Even with my larger-than-average head circumference, i find them a comfortable fit. I’m not an audiophile, so more discriminating tastes might detect some flaw i’ve missed, but the performance is flawless to my ears. They seem well constructed and the audio quality, with both the speakers and mic have been great.

I would rate 4 1/2 stars if i could, it’s just that the lights are annoying, and the volume dial tends to turn at the lightest accidental brush.įor pc gaming, i was replacing more expensive headphones from another brand that broke, and found these to be less expensive (at $40) and more comfortable than i expected. They are very comfortable, even while wearing glasses, and have pretty amazing fidelity for the price. The lights on ears are a bit of a turn-off, otherwise excellent. There was a little hassle, but it was entirely my fault for not checking through all my email folders. Etekcity stood by their product and sent me a replacement. This all happened suddenly, for no reason. Also, the volume dial started getting very warm, which is kind of bonkers. They’re started to give random noises that sound like, well, the only thing i can think of to describe it is like a small motor revving. There is a 2 year warranty, and i’ve had mine for almost exactly one year (one year and 8 days). I hope i don’t change my mind months down the road, but so far this seems to be a really great headset. Cord length is a little short for my liking, but still plenty of distance.

However, i did not download the drivers, i let windows 10 configure it for me, so perhaps the download would allow 2. This is huge as tangles are what eventually killed my last headset. 1 channel tests on youtube)pricethe cord is tangle/stress resistant.

Customer service was quick and super helpful when i needed to contact them.įelt compelled to review this just a couple hours after use. I’ve also had a problem in the past with talking with my mic muted but i’ve never had that problem with these because of the on/off led on the mic boom. I wear glasses and these don’t hurt my head at all and i wear them for hours. I’ve bought too many headsets over the years because they broke after a couple months or the ear pads hurt my head but this one is amazing. The new set is exactly the same except for the color and led design.
I got an older version of the same headset about two years ago and they just went out after daily use. I can’t tell you how much of a steal this is. To me the fit is perfect, the sound is amazing, the led lights are cool and the the mute button with the led on the boom is the best idea of all time.
